Arakelov Geometry is a discipline at the crossroad of Number theory,
Algebraic Geometry and Complex Analysis. The Kyoto-Paris-Barcelona
Seminar is a small forum of discussion of the recent
developments in the field. It is
cyclically held in these three cities. The first edition took place on
March 18-20, 2009, at the Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu, and the
second edition was held on September 21-24, 2010, at Kyoto University.
The third edition of the seminar will take place at the IMUB (Institut
de Matemàtiques de la Universitat de Barcelona) in Barcelona on
September 5-9, 2011. September 5-6 will be devoted
to informal discussions while on September 7-9 there will be a
series of lectures given by participants to the seminar. |
